LET ME SEE JESUS
March 30 | Discipleship Guide
Be Real Together:
Take a few minutes to catch up, tell stories, and laugh together. Trust and friendship take time to build. If you’re launching a new DG, one person should tell their story — what do we need to know about you? Next week, have another person in your DG share their story.
Read Together: John 9:1-12; 35-38 CSB
This week, we explored the story of a man born blind who was healed by Jesus. His physical sight was restored, but his spiritual sight was also opened as he came to believe in Jesus. Through this passage, we’re reminded of the ways Jesus desires to restore us and reveal Himself to us.
The One Question:
Ask this question at your family meal or Discipleship Group.
What area of your life do you need Jesus to open your eyes to see more clearly this week?
Grow Together:
Use these questions to go deeper with your DG or for personal study.
- The blind man didn’t see Jesus, but Jesus saw him. How have you experienced the reality of God seeing you, even in your hardest moments?
- Jesus healed the man using mud and obedience. Are there areas in your life where God is calling you to obey Him, even if it feels unconventional?
- The blind man’s physical sight was restored, but he also gained spiritual sight when he believed in Jesus. Where do you need God to restore your spiritual vision?
- The healed man boldly testified about Jesus despite opposition. What is your testimony of how Jesus has transformed your life? How can you share it this week?
Pray Together:
Take time to pray with and for each other.
Suggested Prayer Prompts:
Suggested Prayer Prompts:
- Thank God for opening your eyes to see His presence and truth.
- Ask for courage to obey Him, even when it’s uncomfortable.
- Pray for opportunities to share your testimony and point others to Jesus.
- Lift up those who feel unseen and ask for God’s compassion to overflow through you.
Next Steps:
Consider one practical action you can take this week to see Jesus more clearly or help someone else see Him. It could be offering encouragement, extending forgiveness, sharing your testimony, or spending intentional time in prayer and Scripture.
Share your commitments with the Group and check in with one another throughout the week for encouragement and accountability.
