Be Real Together:

Take a few minutes to catch up, tell stories, and laugh together. Trust and friendship take time to build. If you’re launching a new DG, one person should tell their story — what do we need to know about you? Next week, have another person in your DG share their story.

This week, we explored what it means to embody the Kingdom of God. Jesus calls us to seek His Kingdom first, reminding us that it’s not about external circumstances but a life of righteousness, peace, and joy through the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom is not distant — it is in our midst. As we embody it, others will see the light of Christ through us.

How can you embody the Kingdom of God in your relationships, workplace, or community this week?

Grow Together:
Use these questions to go deeper with your DG or for personal study.

  1. Embodying the Kingdom in Your Inner Life: How is your personal relationship with God influencing your thoughts, emotions, and decisions? Where might He be inviting you to grow?
  2. Embodying the Kingdom Through Kingdom Ethics: In what ways can you reflect God’s justice, mercy, and love in your daily actions and choices? How can you align your values more closely with His?
  3. Embodying the Kingdom in Your Home and Family: What would it look like to cultivate a Kingdom-centered environment in your home? How can you model forgiveness, kindness, and patience to those closest to you?
  4. Embodying the Kingdom in Your Church and Community: How can you contribute to the unity and mission of Bright City Church? Are there any specific ways you feel called to serve or support others?
  5. Embodying the Kingdom in the World: What opportunities do you have to be a light in your workplace, neighborhood, or city? How can your actions point others toward the hope of God’s Kingdom?

  • Ask for courage and clarity to live out the values of the Kingdom this week.
  • Pray for Bright City Church to be a beacon of light in the community.

Consider one practical action you can take this week to embody the Kingdom of God. It could be an act of service, a conversation with someone in need, or extending forgiveness where it's needed.
