Be Real Together:

Take a few minutes to catch up, tell stories, and laugh together. Trust and friendship take time to build. If you’re launching a new DNA, one person should tell their story — what do we need to know about you? Next week, have another person in your DNA share their story.

Read Together: Colossians 3:1-17 CSB

This passage instructs believers to seek heavenly things and set their minds on Christ, not earthly things, because they have died to their old life and their life is now hidden with Christ in God. They are to put to death earthly desires and sinful behaviors such as immorality, lust and greed. They must rid themselves of all such things as anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language. Believers should put on the new self, renewed in the image of God, and embrace compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
They must forgive one another and bind everything together with love. The peace of Christ should rule in their hearts, and they should be thankful. The message of Christ should dwell among them richly, teaching and admonishing one another, and everything should be done in Jesus’ name, giving thanks to God.

2. How can reflecting on our past behaviors help us grow in our faith?
3. How does love bind all the virtues together in perfect unity?
4. How can we integrate the practice of giving thanks to God into our daily routines?
5. What does it look like for the peace of Christ to rule in our hearts?
