From Skepticism to Certainty
March 10 | DNA Guide
Be Real Together:
Take a few minutes to catch up, tell stories, and laugh together. Trust and friendship take time to build. If you’re launching a new DNA, one person should tell their story — what do we need to know about you? Next week, have another person in your DNA share their story.
Read Together: Matthew 11:1-19
Chapter 11 kicks off with Jesus being approached by some of John the Baptist's disciples. John is in prison and he is having doubts about Jesus' identity. Matthew 11:2-3 tells us;
“Now when John, who was in prison, heard about the works of the Messiah, he sent a message through his disciples and asked him, "Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?"
There are a lot of reasons we might experience doubt in our faith, much like John did. It could be difficult situations, unmet expectations, limited perceptions, etc.

The One Question:
Ask this question at your family meal or DNA.
Consider the teachings and acts of Jesus, do they cause you to stumble or doubt his identity as God and Savior?
Use these questions to go deeper with your DNA or for personal study.
1. In what areas of your life are you struggling with doubt? How can you bring these doubts to God and search for answers in His Word?
2. What steps can you take to surrender more fully to the truth of Jesus, moving beyond viewing Him as a theory and embracing Him as a King to be worshiped?

Pray Together:
Take time to pray with and for each other.
