Kingdom People Worship Jesus
January 21 | DNA Guide
Be Real Together:
Take a few minutes to catch up, tell stories, and laugh together. Trust and friendship take time to build. If you’re launching a new DNA, one person should tell their story — what do we need to know about you? Next week, have another person in your DNA share their story.
Read Together: John 4:7-26
The One Question:
Ask this question at your family meal or DNA.
What you direct your life toward, is where your worshiping happens. Your life reflects what you value most. Take a moment to pause and examine your life, what is your life reflecting? Who/what are you worshiping?
Use these questions to go deeper with your DNA or for personal study.
- In John 4:13, Jesus is pointing to himself as the source of true satisfaction. What are you tempted to believe is the source of your satisfaction other than God himself? (Ex: material things, social media, your spouse, friendships, job…)
- There are many different ways to worship Jesus. A few examples are through praise and worship, prayer, reading His word and serving His church. Which of these makes you feel closest to Jesus and why?
- Just like the woman at the well telling her neighbors about Jesus, is there anyone in your life who needs to be invited to follow Jesus with you?
Pray Together:
Take time to pray with and for each other.
