Freed, Fed & Not Forgotten

July 30 | DNA Guide

Be Real Together:

Take a few minutes to catch up, tell stories, and laugh together. Trust and friendship take time to build. If you’re launching a new DNA, one person should tell their story — what do we need to know about you? Next week, have another person in your DNA share their story.

Read Together: Psalm 136:1, 23-26 CSB

The One Question:
Ask this question at your family meal or DNA.

This week, we kicked off our Big Family series with a message from Pastor Taylor Murray from Real Life Church (Covington, WA)! Through Psalm 136, Taylor reminded us that God is good and His love endures forever. Where have you seen the goodness of God in your life lately? Take a moment to reflect with gratitude.

Grow Together:
Use these questions to go deeper with your DNA or for personal study.

1) Taylor shared four main points with us this week about the goodness of God. The first one being, “He remembered you and He remembers you.” What do you feel when you hear this statement? Do you receive it to be true or is it something hard for your heart to grasp?

2)
“He freed you and he frees you.” Is there something in your life you need freedom from today? What would that look like for you? How can your Group support you in that?

3) “God has sustained you and he sustains you.” Reflect on a moment in your life where you can see how the Lord sustained you and gave you the strength to keep pushing forward despite difficulties. If you're comfortable, share with your Group about that experience.

4) “God is patient with you.” Is there any area in your life where you feel you need to be more patient with the Lord? Do you feel as though you are in a “waiting” season?

Pray Together:

Take time to pray with and for each other.
